Apricot nuts are rich in vitamin E, Vitamin B 15, vitamin B17 (amygdalin), proteins, fats and fiber. According to some studies, amygdalin may prevent tumor cells from reproducing. For this purpose, it is recommended to consume no more than 10 apricot kernels per day, since in large quantities amygdalin is converted into cyanide. In small quantities, nuts can reduce high blood pressure, strengthen the immune system, stimulate peristalsis and digestion, accelerate metabolism.
